Biography

Timothy McCuen Piggee holds an MFA from the National Theater Conservatory and a BFA from the University of Utah. On Broadway, he originated the role of FBI Agent Bill Cod in the musical Catch Me If You Can. His directing credits include Appropriate, Fat Ham, and A Raisin in the Sun at the 91ÊÓÆµ Repertory Theatre, The Color Purple, Hello, Dolly!, Hairspray, and Dreamgirls at the Village Theatre, A Raisin in the Sun at Pittsburgh Public Theater, among others. As an actor, Timothy has appeared on most 91ÊÓÆµ stages, including leading roles with the 5th Theatre, Intiman Theatre, Village Theatre, 91ÊÓÆµ Repertory Theatre, 91ÊÓÆµ Children’s Theatre, ACT Theatre, Showtunes, 91ÊÓÆµ Group Theatre, The Empty Space Theatre and Tacoma Actor’s Guild among others.

Nationally his work as a performer has been seen at the Denver Center Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Portland Center Stage and Pioneer Theatre Company among others.

His film and television credits include Navy Diver, Outpatient, After, Crocodile Tears, Take One, The David Letterman Show and the 65th Annual Tony Awards. His awards and honors include the 2015 Gregory A. Falls award for Sustained Achievement, the 2015 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship, 2012 University of Utah Distinguished Alumnus Award, the 2015 Gregory A.
